Whether you have visited our office before, or you are a new patient who needs pain management, we can help. At Roy A. Logan Chiropractic Clinic, we hope to become your chiropractor near Austin for years to come. We want to first help relieve your acute pain through one of our many innovative therapeutic treatment modalities before launching a long-term maintenance program.
If frequent visits to your family doctor have left you mystified about the source of your pain, your chiropractor in Austin will get to the root of the issue. We understand how frustrating it is for our patients who have lived in pain for several months, and sometimes years. Learning the underlying problem goes a long way in giving our chiropractic patients peace of mind and the determination to move forward with the necessary treatment modalities.
Dr. Logan focuses on each patient as an individual. Our whole team feels that, the better we understand you and your life, the better we can help you. Each patient's physiology and lifestyle play into their overall health. With that in mind, we want you to understand that we want to relieve your pain, help you heal, and provide you with tools to avoid the same pain in the future.
Your Austin chiropractor will perform a physical exam, order X-Rays, and conduct an interview to make a determination about your condition before preparing a pain management program.
Once your Austin chiropractor understands the reason for your pain, he will quickly devise a treatment plan just for you. Below are a few of the possible treatment modalities that we might recommend you follow with us:
Electrical Stimulation - Electrical stimulation is a frequently prescribed pain management therapy when patients experience as much swelling as pain. This therapeutic modality is often paired with spinal adjustments and helps to reduce inflammation, calming tight and spastic muscles. The increased circulation to problem site also helps to reduce pain.
Ultrasound Therapy - Using a special ultrasound therapy machine, this treatment modality features an extremely high-frequency sound, which is out of the range of human hearing, to speed healing. Ultrasound treatments are effective in healing joints, muscles, and tendons. This modality also improves circulation by increasing blood flow to the area where you feel pain.
Corrective Exercise Therapy - Sometimes a more traditional physiotherapy is effective. Dr. Logan and our team will work with you to find the best stretching and strengthening exercises to do in the office or at home.
We also discuss nutrition and regular exercise in each of our treatment sessions.
We hope you will reach out to us to find the right treatment for pain management and recovery. Contact Roy A. Logan Chiropractic Clinic for more information and to schedule an appointment with Dr. Roy A. Logan, DC. Please Contact us at (512) 215-3256.
